Ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom, the September calendar is finally here and it’s stacked with films you’ll love to see on the big screen!

@kuohwatheater is kicking off our month of programming with a very special Taiwanese New Wave double feature. These films are rarely screened and will be followed by a panel discussion

For the anime fans, we’ve got the new 4K versions of YOUR NAME and EVANGELION!

Sundance award-winner AMERICAN DOCTOR arrives for a one week engagement, with a special Saturday Matinee followed by a panel discussion (free for members as a part of our Reel Conversations series).

@seeiton16mm brings the heat with KING KONG, VERTIGO, NIGHT OF THE COMET and the finale of their SECRET GRINDHOUSE screening series.

Our longest running film series, THE ART AFTER DARK is now free to members thanks to the generous sponsorship of @the4thhorsemanlbc. This month, we’re featuring Stillz’s BARRIO TRISTE and Avalon Fast’s CAMP (during QFilms).

Our annual Members-only appreciation event this year is The Beatles’ A HARD DAY’S NIGHT. Come say hi to the Art Theatre team and your fellow members!

@moviesnbooksclub and @belcantobooks present one of our most requested films ever, THE LAST UNICORN, followed by a group discussion.

For the girlies, we’ve got a Y2K double feature of BRING IT ON and JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS💅🏻✨

@goodluckvinylclub continues their all hits, no misses streak with CHUNGKING EXPRESS.

End the month with BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN featuring a live score from @georgesarahmusic

Then, from Fall ‘26 – Spring ‘27 we’re showing TWIN PEAKS…all of it, every Sunday at 11am with select encore screenings on Thursdays. Plus, special pop-ups from @lauriespiebar
