“ Long Beach is a vibe. A fun, happy, colorful and bright city to live & call home. I included all these elements as well as some notable landmarks (the lighthouse/ the ferris wheel at the pike). I chose a shark as the main character/focal point of this scene to pay homage to ELBEE ( the CSULB shark mascot).” – 8
the push 4 peace program was created to give free boards to local youth and now has expanded to:
“Promoting unity, empowerment, and diversity through entrepreneurship, skating, and art”. With over 200 skateboards donated to youth of LB in the last year, we’ve also been able to help locals with food, school supplies, clothing, and mentorship in creative skill building. THE AVG COST OF A SK8 DECK HAS RISEN TO $75-80, MAKING IT HARDER FOR YOUTH TO SKATE AND STAY IN A POSITIVE HEAD SPACE. OUR $40 PRESALE/ DROPS HELP SUPPORT LOCAL ART AND GIVE FREE BOARDS TO THOSE IN NEED.
SKATING SHOULD ALWAYS BE ACCESSIBLE, DIVERSE AND CREATIVE. HELP US SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS AND THE YOUTH BY PARTICIPATING IN OUR RELEASES OR DONATING AT:
